Her style is so whimsical, yet not foolish. Provocative without it being too sexy. Rebellious without it being cliche badass. She is definitely in her own lane. Beyonce Rocks it at Revel

Beyonce gave her fans life this past Memorial Day weekend with a fierce “comeback” concert at Revel in Atlantic City. Everyone is calling it a “comeback” concert, but in my heart Beyonce never left. But I get it, she had a baby so she’s gettin’ back to bidness.

Although I did not attend, I saw videos and photo uploads of the show. Beyonce is a classic. Her energy, her stage presence, her talent is perfection. Even her hubby tweeted about her greatness. I definitely can not miss another show! I watched the making of the concert; she put so much into it. I always found Beyonce very guarded in her interviews, very rehearsed. But, when I watch her mini-documentaries on her working, that’s the realest I’ve ever seen her. She’s so thorough and particular; it’s inspiring. 

Celebs, including Michelle Obama and her girls, enjoyed the concert too. One celebrity in particular had the Beyhive buzzing — Kim Kardashian. It’s no secret that Kim is allegedly thirsty for Beyonce’s friendship especially since she’s dating Bey’s homie-in-law Kanye West. And it’s also no secret that Kim lives, breathes, and eats attention. Supposedly, Beyonce wants nothing to do with the “media whore” (your words not mine…don’t act like you don’t call her that). So when, the Beyhive saw that the enemy infiltrated the honeycomb; they were NOT pleased!

Kim got to go backstage and took pictures with the band and dancers. However, no pictures with Kim and Beyonce surfaced. Maybe Bey threw her a bone with a backstage pass but no Bey access. Or maybe they did see each other but Bey prohibited photos. Who knows? But the blogs are creating tales and novels based on true events. All I know is that Kim is getting closer and closer. Watch out Kim K…those Bey stings are coming!

Billboards Music Awards….Yawn

Number one, I didn’t even know the #BBMA was even on until 9pm. Maybe I’ve just been in my own world but I seriously didn’t see it coming. I was way too into the Kardashians anyway.  Whatever, I managed to click back and forth but was bored out my mind.

If she’s not there…why should I care?

I watched Jordin Sparks attempt a Whitney song. She attempted. Still, it was a nice try. Bobbi Kristina’s tears broke my heart.

And we can’t talk about an award show without obligatory fashion reviews. 

Brandy in Herve Leger. She looked hot, very caliente! The curls are gorgeous. I love that she looked very umm….not white washed. I couldn’t think of better words. 

Miley Cyrus in Jean Paul Gaultier. Miley, you are hot yes, but you look like a hot older woman. She is someone who will definitley embrace old age; she’s been portraying a 40 yr old woman since she was 16. She probably has an old soul but I’m gonna need for her to lighten up her locks and makeup. You are 19 Miley…19!

Taylor Swift in Elie Saab. This is one provocative look for little miss perfect. Very daring for her but nothing out of her aesthetic, which is good. I hate when celebs make a bold statement that’s way out of their character. It’s inorganic when you do something different but so different that it isn’t you. 

 

Carrie Underwood in Oscar de la Renta. She is my princess barbie. This dress is too cute!  Some may say it’s too elaborate for the #BBMA but the colors and cut make it so fun. It’s elaborate but not too elegant as it is playful.

Katy Perry in Blumarine. This is one of her best looks of all time! So ethereal and rich. The purple hair and makeup fits her so perfectly! That dress doesn’t fit too bad either. She’s looking like royalty! 

Yeah well that’s all I got from the show.

Will You Be Watching: The Carrie Diaries?

The trailer for Sex and The City’s prequel based on Carrie Bradshaw has finally been released. Take a look at the curly toddler version of Carrie in The Carrie Diaries.

Eh…I don’t plan on watching. SATC is a classic and should not be ruined. It was already suggested in the series and the movie sequel that Bradshaw first stomped the city in her 20’s not as a cheesy teenager (and don’t tell me that those chicks above are adults. Talking about hotdogs and keyholes….girl…). We already know Carrie had an abortion at 22 and that she lost her virginity in the eleventh grade (Don’t act like you don’t know!) Why do we have to have everything super explained? I like to leave her past to my imagination. 

Ah Well…

Mommy Day Plans

Now I can’t get into detail about what I will be doing for Mother’s day because mama reads the blog. (Hi Mommy! :-) )


But I thought I’d share some ideas with some of you that need a plan. These ideas aren’t generic activities; they’re actual questions and things to think about to help you figure out what’s perfect for your mom/mommy figure. 

Where is your mom from? What food hasn’t she eaten since childhood? Does she have any memories she wishes to relive? It could be cooking her a nostalgic dish, finding her an oldie but goodie favorite (music, fragrance, accessory, etc.), or even taking her to one of her old favorite places. Give your mama a surprise blast from the past! 



Have any siblings? Gather together and create an awesome gift from all of you. One gift from all of her children is better than a gift from each (plus it cancels out competition)! Together, you can buy her an expensive gift like a vacation or luxury item. You can also just play as a spa or catering service and treat your mom like royalty. You can be her manicurist, big sis can be the personal chef, and  lil bro can be her concierge!

Is mom going through any emotional issues? Has she been having a rough week, month, or even year/s? While you can’t always change the situation you can appease the pain. For a day, help her forget all the stress. Treat the day as if none of her issues exist. Take her for a long drive, a ride out of town, do an activity she would never even dream of doing. Create an exciting, uplifting, and freeing experience for her. Perhaps, this can be just the turn-around she needs for even post-Mother’s Day.

KazzleDazz TV!

Hey guys! If ya didn’t know I started a Youtube channel  (MsKazzleDazz) last fashion week. Nothin’ too major at first, just a few vids of the shows I attended. But I figure why not use it to document all the things I tell ya about?!
